Frequently Asked Questions

General

  • That’s OK, but depending on the pack, we may have to keep your dog on leash for a majority of the adventure. We will not be able to accommodate females in heat.

  • Yes! We are insured through Pet Sitters Association.

Boarding

  • No, but that’s OK! We will need to schedule a meet and greet with one of our Pack Leaders to make sure we are a good fit. We also reserve the right to charge more for dogs that are not in the Clubhouse, as they may require more attention during their stay with us.

Every dog that is in the Clubhouse has gone through extensive training with our Pack Leaders to ensure the following rituals are safe, respectful, and practiced consistently:

    - they understand how to walk respectfully on-leash with a pack

    - they respect thresholds (car doors, front doors, crate doors, etc.)

    - they practice good recall

-they understand how to find calmness on place, in the crate, or on their bed

    - they can use the treadmill and practice agility

    - they are respectful during off-leash time and social time

It is important to us that while your dog is in our care, not only are they safe and respected, but the environment they are staying in is calm, clean, and structured. This is one of the many benefits of offering our boarding services to a small group of dogs. We are able to work closely with each dog, and also ensure not only the environment is maintained up to standard, but their mental and physical health as well.

Adventure

  • Great question! Chances are your dog is a good fit, but we understand that not all dogs have great recall, social skills or enjoy riding in vehicles. The consultation is a great time to discuss most of these issues and figure out the best plan for you and your dog. If your dog has aggression issues towards people or dogs, we will not be able to accept them into the Pack Adventure program, but are happy to offer recommendations.

  • This first adventure we will meet with you and your dog to see if we are a good fit! Trial Adventures always take place in the morning. We meet at your home where pick-up and drop-offs take place, and spend a little time getting acquainted with you and your dog. We review the Service Agreement, introduce your dog to the doggy van, answer any questions you may have about adventures, then we’re off! Interested? Complete the contact form and we’ll be in touch!

  • This depends on your schedule and when you are booking! If you plan to reserve a specific day/time, then yes, your dog will most likely remain with their pack each week. Packs can differ in size, and breed. Once your dog is fully integrated into the Pack Adventure program our hope is that they can adventure with any pack!

  • Once you’re a Canine Clubhouse Member, you can book adventures right through the website login here! Don’t have a client login yet? Send us an email and we can get you setup!

  • Less is more! We do ask that you provide at least one poop bag, and your dog must have a collar with their name and contact information on it. The rest we will take care of! We have leashes, extra poop bags, lots of water, treats, and towels! If your dog has food allergies please let us know so we can keep their treats separate!

  • Stuff happens! We get it - but please let us know ASAP so we can let another client know a space has opened up for their dog. If the cancelation has been made within 48 hours of the adventure, we will not charge you. Same day cancelations result in a full charge.

  • We sure do! Rain or shine, Monday through Friday! The only time we cancel is if we hear thunder and lightening, or if schools are canceled due to snow storms. We try to give at least 12 hours notice, if we have to cancel adventures due to weather, your account will not be charged.
